British Artist
Darrell Evanes was born 1965 in Leeds. He studied BTEC National in art & design at Harrogate College from 1990 to 1992 and then graduated at Bretton Hall Leeds in 1996 with BA (Hons) in fine art sculpture. His expertise and experience show in his extremely high quality sculpted pieces, some of which the Enid Hutt Gallery is proud to be able to offer.
Found Materials
Evanes now has a workshop where he develops his own pieces using found materials such as metals, moulding them into dynamic designs through his own keen eye and unique style. He works in different ways, sometimes producing huge art installation sculptures whilst at other times producing smaller, more mobile pieces which would work being displayed indoors or outdoors.
