Born in Surrey, Sherree Valentine Daines studied at the Epsom School of Fine Art. Immediately upon graduating she began approaching local institutions in order to persuade them to exhibit her work. Her initial exhibits proved to be an enormous success and she soon garnered attention from the art world. Winning the Royal Society’s Artist of the Year Award, Sherree had arrived!

Our range of Sherree Valentine Daines limited edition prints show her fascination with people and society. Using her appealing impressionist style, she rose to prominence with her paintings of important events on the social calendar including Royal Ascot and the Henley Regatta. These raised her profile in the sporting world as well as the art world and has seen her work become sought after by celebrity collectors. The Royal Family have also invested in her paintings.

Many leading lights have sat for Sheree including Joanna Lumley and Michael Parkinson. She received a commission from the MCC to paint the Ashes test grounds and another to paint Jonny Wilkinson and Martin Johnson. These portraits were to become limited editions issued to celebrate England’s Rugby World Cup Win. She then painted a further portrait of Wilkinson which the player purchased for himself.

Sherree’s profile has been further enhanced by her television appearances. She was featured on the BBC whilst painting the test ground for the MCC. Sherree was also seen on This Morning on the occasion of presenter Fen Britton’s final programme. The artist had been commissioned by Ms Britton’s colleagues to paint her portrait and the piece was presented to her on air. Sherree Valentine Daines has been dubbed "artist to the stars".

Perhaps because of her eye for detail, maybe because her impressionistic style is so appealing, Sherree Valentine Daines now enjoys a huge following and an international reputation. There is something distinctly British about her subjects but her depictions of society are somewhat reminiscent of Renoir’s compositions. Her figurative work is charming, elegant and captivating and now you can have your own with these signed limited edition Sherree Valentine Daines prints.
