New Collection of Sculptures by Lorenzo Quinn

You are invited to view a forth coming exhibition of works by Lorenzo Quinn at the Enid Hutt Gallery - running in conjunction with an exclusive feature of original pieces by the leading sculptor at the Halcyon Gallery, London. The exhibition will run from the 21st of November until Christmas.

Internationally renowned sculptor Lorenzo Quinn is regarded as one of the leading contemporary sculptors in the world. Inspired by the great masters such as Michelangelo, Bernini, Carpaux and Rodin, Lorenzo’s monumental sculptures transmit emotion and meaning. His passion and strongly held political and religious views evidently flow through his work.

The multi award winning sculptor has reached many heights with his amazing pieces of figurative bronze art and is Included in many private collections throughout the World which lead to many prestigious commissioned pieces.

Work undertaken includes the likeness of Saint Anthony, in commemoration of the Eighth Centennial of the Saint's birth. Lorenzo's sculpture was blessed by the Holy Father in Saint Peter's Square before it was placed in the Basilica del Santo in Padua in 1995. He has also been commissioned by United Nations to produce a stamp for their collection, as well as placing several monumental sculptures though out the UK & Europe.

For a short period of time his stunning limited edition reproduction sculptures will be touring the UK, along side an exclusive exhibition of original works at the Halcyon Gallery, London. The touring exhibition is to feature some of Lorenzo Quinn's best work to date consisting of a collection of 8 pieces, 3 of which are brand new creations.

Warner Bros has commissioned a number of acclaimed artists to paint a piece which reflected their feelings for The Inspirations of Oz Fine Art Collection. Their amazing creative artworks premiered at the highly anticipated event at the Miami Beach art fair at Ocean Drive Magazine's Paint the Town Green Presents: "The Emerald City" event on December 5, 2008.

The Inspirations of Oz Fine Art Collection features one-of-a-kind interpretive works of art, including painting, drawing and sculpture from esteemed artisans Angelo Aversa, Romero Britto, Gentle Giant, Phillip Graffham, Gris Grimly, Marcus Antonius Jansen, Johnny Johns, William Joyce, Joel Nakamura, Nelson De La Nuez, Glen Orbik, Ragnar, Alex Ross, Todd White and Yakovetic.

Being one of the chosen few, Todd White created three paintings from his visions and memories of the beloved and iconic motion picture. His work has caught the imagination of art collectors around the world in addition to many Hollywood celebrities, members of the Rich List and ambassadors of the high life. In a rapid rise to fame he has become one of the most popular and successful living artists in the world. His reputation is international, not only as an exhilarating and revered artistic talent but also as a style icon. Todd White is the creator of highly collectible and much sought after items of designer wall décor, and his work more so than any other has become the thing to have on a wall.

Born in 1969, Todd White came from humble roots. During his twenties he seized upon an opportunity to relocate to Hollywood, where one of his key career spells came at Warner Bros. Studios. Through character development he began to forge his own artistic style and became part of the lead design team for several internationally renowned animation series, including SpongeBob SquarePants.

His desire to reveal his subjects’ innermost thoughts provide timeless scenes of attraction and intimacy; beneath the exaggerated features and textured skin of his characters there is truth, both ours and theirs. We experience the subjects in Todd White’s work every day, offering us intrigue and interest, changing the way we perceive the people we encounter and the roles we play around each other. He studies body language, utilising the nuances of his source material to capture the subtleties of what one shows and hides.

Since his earliest artworks, Todd White has continued to develop and refine his work, exploring new techniques and studying the broader and deeper aspects of his subjects. New Jack Vettriano Limited Edition Prints

We are delighted to be able to announce the release of an exclusive collection of 5 new images from the UK's most popular, and yet most controversial, contemporary artists.

The exclusive 5 new images 3 of which were taken from the Love, Devotion and Surrender exhibition shown at the Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery in June 2006 are each limited to a very small edition of only 250 copies worldwide. A stunning example of Vettriano’s work, these chosen images are already popular with his many fans and in particular featured in the collection is one of the most meaningful paintings to Jack, ‘Long Time Gone’ which features Methil power station which is scheduled to be demolished soon.

Born in Fife, Scotland in 1951, Jack Vettriano left school at sixteen to become a mining engineer. For his twenty-first birthday, a girlfriend gave him a set of watercolour paints and, from then on, he spent much of his spare time teaching himself to paint.

In 1989, he submitted two paintings to the Royal Scottish Academy's annual exhibition; both were accepted and sold on the first day. The following year, an equally enthusiastic reaction greeted the three paintings, which he entered for the prestigious Summer Exhibition at London's Royal Academy and his new life as an artist began from that point on.

Over the last twenty years, interest in Vettriano's work has grown consistently. There have been sell-out solo exhibitions in Edinburgh, London, Hong Kong and New York.

2004 was an exceptional year in Vettriano's career; his best known painting, The Singing Butler was sold at Sotheby's for close to £750,000; he was awarded an OBE for Services to the Visual Arts and was the subject of a South Bank Show documentary, entitled 'Jack Vettriano: The People's Painter'.

From 1994-2007, Vettriano was represented by Portland Gallery in London but the relationship ended in June 2007. Since then, Vettriano has been focusing on a variety of private projects, including the launch of a new book, and painting of a portrait of Zara Phillips as part of a charity fund-raising project for Sport Relief, the experience of which was captured in a documentary broadcast on BBC1 in March 2008.

Vettriano divides his time between his homes in Fife, London and Nice.
