London to Paris an exquisite new collection of prints from Mark Spain

We are delighted to preview an exclusive collection of limited edition canvas prints by Mark Spain. Only available in a handful of galleries across the UK. Mark himself said he is very excited about the release as it was such a pleasue to create these special editions, "I’ve always felt the city comes to life at night. As the daylight fades and the evening light begins the surroundings take on a magical glow full of anticipation and excitement. It is a true joy to try to capture the moods of these two great cities at these times."

Quite possibly some of his best work to date featuring these stunning landmarks and sights we all love. All personally signed, numbered and hand embellished by the artists and very limited to a small edition of 95 copies. All have an image size of 24" x 30". We are also delighted to be able to offer a number of original paintings from this new release as well as other individual pieces.

Pittenweem Arts Festival 6th - 14th August 2011

The Pittenweem Arts Festival kicked off on the 6th of August with an array of art, artists and much more on offer this year. The picturesque fishing village in Fife offers a unique venue for many well-established artists and newcomers with it's narrow wynds running down to the harbour. Pittenweem’s amazing atmosphere has attracted many artists over the years and now in it's 29th year the festival has grown in to a major attraction in Fife attracting thousands of visitors.

The festival hosts a number of exhibitions with many invited artists as well as an open exhibition for new artists. There are also many craft events and workshops to get involved with.

If your passing by why not pop in to the gallery, were only 20 minutes drive from the East Neuk and have one of the largest art displays in Scotland, offering a huge selection of limited edition prints, original artwork and wall mirrors. Enid Hutt Gallery are honoured to launch ‘Working Man’, the signed limited edition collection of art taken from the prestigious Alexander Millar museum exhibition opening at the Great North Museum: Hancock this spring.

These signed limited editions take us on a deeper journey with the familiar ‘gadgie’ character than perhaps any of Millar’s work to date. In this collection Millar cleverly brings ever more humanity into his paintings, his sensitive depiction of these working men, allows us to connect with them like never before. Their lives and loves, trials and tribulations, hopes and dreams, are laid out before us on canvas.

First phase of new artwork for Spring 2011

A quick preview of the first phase of stunning new collections of artworks available in stock soon. A small selection of artists have been chosen for immediate release of new prints this Spring including Paul Kenton, Sarah Graham, Neil Dawson, Kim Haskins and Keith Proctor.

Paul Kenton and Sarah Graham has once again wowed us with three superb new editions each. Paul's new cityscape canvases of London, Paris and New York depicts the beauty and mood of each city with great movement and hints of colour, a superb release. Sarah Graham has also released some of her most scrumptious work yet. Two new sweetie related canvas prints Candy Canes and Saucy Sundae look just good enough to eat straight off the canvas!

Another amazing talent is Keith Proctor, 3 new limited edition canvas prints with fantastic use of colour and flair, these beautiful prints are hand embellished to enhance the piece. The contrast in detail from the foreground and background loosely painted and the incredible detail on the children almost bring these prints to life.

Jack Vettriano Valentine Event Raises £86,000 for Charity

The 2010 First Minister's Christmas card painted by Jack Vettriano has raised £86,000 for charity. The original oil painting and limited edition prints of the image were sold at auction in St Andrews on Friday raising a staggering amount for these amazing charities.

The original painting - Let's Twist Again, featuring a dancing couple at a festive party raised £68,000 while a special collection of limited edition prints went for £18,000. The original painting which was expected to sell for £25,000 was unveiled by Mr Salmond at the National Gallery of Scotland in December.

The money raised on the night will go to Bethany Christian Trust, Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, Quarriers and Teenage Cancer Trust.

Alex Salmond said: "Jack is a great supporter of good causes and his distinctive style is recognised around the world. He has proven himself time and again to be Scotland's painter of the people."

Previously declined to display any of Jack Vettriano's works, the National Galleries announced on Thursday his self-portrait The Weight will be exhibited at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery from September 2011.
