We are delighted to have some stunning Helen Parsley originals available at Enid Hutt Galley. Helen is an artist who is receiving growing recognition, with her outstanding interpretation of colour and light, and her captivating impressions of landscape and cityscape, which faithfully represent the real world whilst infusing that realism with the unique accent of lived experience.
After originally being trained in illustration at the University of Manchester and then earning a living becoming a successful illustrator, Helen Parsley followed her dream to become a full time artist, and indeed has been a professional artist for twenty years.
Her style is highly realistic, though at the same time is informed by intuition rather than detailed methodology. She works mainly in acrylic paints, using vibrant colours to their full potential, and her works often express her positive outlook on life, with their focus being centred on the beauty of nature and the world around us.
Helen is originally from Lancashire, but her artistic development saw her spend much time in Paris, where she became inspired not only by the scenery but by the heritage of the French impressionistic movement. More recently, she has developed a love for the city of Venice, which lends itself to her masterful use of colour, light, texture and the seamless merging together of styles at once precise or photographic and loosely flowing.
Experience the sensory pleasure evoked and provoked by Helen Parsley’s gorgeous artistic worlds for yourself with Helen Parsley originals here at Enid Hutt Gallery.
