The Enid Hutt Gallery is proud to present a selection of Jane Morgan art. Jane Morgan is a self taught artist who uses acrylics and inks and is inspired by the beautiful Somerset countryside in her visual explorations of the natural world.
Jane Morgan was born in 1966 in Cornwall and her parents were both successful architects and so her own passion for painting was encouraged from an early age. It is this passion along with her thirty years spent growing to appreciate and understand the countryside around her that has coalesced to produce pieces of art richly evocative in their textured impressionistic depictions of her home surroundings.
With three years now behind her of professional painting in earnest, Jane Morgan has been buoyed and encouraged to expand on her artistic expression by the responses to her work, as she has found global success, selling originals and prints throughout the UK, Europe, Hong Kong and USA.
On her artistic process, Jane Morgan says: ‘I lose myself when I am painting, completely absorbed in my happy bubble, enjoying the colours and shapes forming on my canvas. It is that uplifting feeling I want to capture and share, to bring a smile to your face and light up your home’.
Here at the Enid Hutt Gallery, we have some stunning originals including ‘Chasing Pink’ and ‘The Poppies’, both framed pieces whose wealth of carefully orchestrated colour works to create an ensemble of high spirited vibrancy. Each piece of Jane Morgan art comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
