Highly Realistic Animal Sculptures

Juliet's first collections often focused on animals such as horses and cats, and the style tended towards the cubist. This approach was to change when Juliet travelled to Africa in 1991. Firstly, this gave Juliet the spark of inspiration to begin to focus artistically on animals such as elephants. But this first change also initiated a second, as the shift in focus to African animals additionally presented the opportunity to evolve her style. In particular, she began to put a lot more emphasis on realistic textures, and this forensic attention to detail is something which can still be found in her sculptures today.

Talented Animal Sculptor

Originally from London, Juliet now is based in the Isle of Wight where she also has her studio workshop. This is where she creates her own artworks, as well as running many classes for aspiring sculptors. She carried out her studies at the Medway College of Design, before she then became the resident Artist at Woodside Community School. She did this for 3 years, then set up a workshop in Blackheath. In 2002, she made her move to the Isle of Wight.

Sculptures for Nature Lovers

Juliet has been a part of a number of artists' societies, such as the Wildlife Arts Society and the Society of Equestrian Arts. She has had a successful career, having had many joint and solo exhibitions. Her cold cast bronze sculptures would be perfect for any animal lover, as it is all about celebrating the powerful beauty of nature's most wonderful creatures. We are always interested in keeping up with what Juliet is creating, as she is one of the most talented sculptors of African animals in the UK today.
