The aim of this blog is to keep you up-to date with all that’s happening in the gallery, about the things we are doing or plan to do with our business, our products and our artists and also to broadcast any events in the area from the many art exhibitions and festivals throughout the year.

To get things going, here’s a bit about how we got started.

It all began as a quarterly exhibition, showcasing a fabulous array of internationally renowned artists artwork and wall décor in the family hotel, the Craws Nest Hotel, Anstruther. This was held for many years with an increase of custom every year. After great success, there was much demand for premises, so we opened the Enid Hutt Gallery in 1990 and registered as members of the Fine Art Trade Guild in 1994. Since the beginning we have double the size of our premises enabling us to have an on-site, state of the art workshop where we create stunning framed pieces of artwork and framed objects like football shirts, golf clubs, racing suits and pretty much anything else you can think of and it gives us a better opportunity to show our huge portfolio of artists work and wall décor to its full potential. The gallery stocks an extensive selection of diverse and individual open prints, limited edition prints, hand crafted metal wall art and original works not to mention the mirrors. Our mirrors are made in Europe and the UK by some of the World’s best mirror manufacturers who provide the highest quality wall mirrors available today, all of which can be purchased on our website.

Our website, which started in 2001 has grown from merely a directory of artists work to a full e-commerce website promoting our artwork and mirrors internationally and it’s a great way to see what’s new and happening in the gallery and with our artists.
