We've been framing for a long time - Over 30 years, and we undertake some exciting projects. We frame for some of the biggest publishing houses and artists in the UK, and we have done work for many high profile businesses including several boutique hotels in Edinburgh. We strive to maintain the highest quality whilst keeping to a quick turn around for all of our customers. So, whether you need 1,000 or just one or two pictures, you can count on us.

Angels Share Bar and Hotel, Edinburgh
About the Hotel
At the very epicentre of one of the world's most iconic and historic cities, Edinburgh, Angels Share Hotel, Bar & Restaurant is a showcase of contemporary Scottish culture. They celebrate the real Scotland, the one that is vibrant, fashionable and current.
All their stylish bedrooms have a contemporary Scottish design each featuring Scottish cultural icon. Whilst enjoying the history Edinburgh has to offer, they display the modern side of cool Scotland without the tartan carpets.
Stocking an impressive range of premium whisky, cocktails that prominently feature Scottish products, live music and food that showcases the finest modern cuisine made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Our Work
We were supplied a brief of a gallery wall look, with mix of black and silver frame colours and various styles. The subject matter was something unique to us here in Scotland as all of the pictures inside the frames had to be photographs of Scottish celebrities.
And it couldn't be just any picture, it had to be images many of us have not seen before, making the sourcing aspect difficult but exciting. Through the expericence we uncovered some fantastic photographs of famous Scots.
Another brilliant aspect of the design was a large oversized image for each bedroom, which was named after a famous Scot and each image of the Scottish celebrity was to be above the bed. This came with problems of several factors, mainly the longevity of such a large photographic print as well as the safety aspect of such a large picture above a bed.
Then each of the public rooms, foyer, bar and restaurant were literally filled with photographs of famous Scots.

Black Ivy Hotel, Edinburgh
About the Hotel
A stylish neighbourhood boutique Hotel, Bar and Restaurant, just 5 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre.
Each of the 21 bedrooms have been uniquely designed to tell a story and, nestled in the heart of leafy Bruntsfield, are the perfect bohemian escape and base to explore the delights of Edinburgh. Independently owned and loved, Black Ivy has been created to offer informal excellence and stylish experiences that will have you returning again and again.
There is on-street parking right outside the hotel and on most nearby streets. On-street parking outside the hotel is free of charge on weekends and overnight, and is charged between 8.30am and 5.30pm on weekdays. For Longer stays, there is parking options nearby and they can help with directions.
Settle down in front of one of their many fireplaces to enjoy a fairtrade coffee or a creative cocktail, tuck into a delicious brunch in the Conservatory Dining Room, sip delicious crisp tank beer in the Drafthouse bar or simply relax on the Terrace and embrace the relaxing park views.
Black Ivy is a stunning location and the bohemian style is always a favourite; that free-spirited aesthetic that mixes different cultures and artistic expressions into an eclectic paradise.
Our Work
Black Ivy was another favourite of our portfolio and helping contribute to the stunning interior design was sheer pleasure. The mix of light and dark, old and new with stunning retro and modern photography. Each room was to feature a consistent colour, while feature a random mix in any way possible.
McSorley's Bar, Edinburgh
About the Bar
McSorley's is one of Edinburgh's best Irish Bars, featuring all the best live sport, and some of Edinburgh's premier musical acts. It's the perfect place to catch all the sport, whether it be, football, rugby, or any other major events!
There's also plenty of weekly events such as Ceilidh Mhor every Tuesday, so get on down.
Our Work
McSorley's was another great project. Steep in the history of Irish pubs, this traditional bar had a stunning modern age make-over whilst keeping that traditional feel. The brief was simple - lots of pictures, in a gallery wall style with dark but tradtional decorative frames.
This seems like an easy task, but in reality there was difficulties sourcing black decorative frame moulding, usually these tend to be gold or silver. So we came up with our own finishes, making little differences to the frames and adding a little variation to the styling which in the end worked fantastically to keep consistency whilst adding different detail.
