Art of The Sky

Esther Cohen comes from a family of artists, so she has been involved with artistic pursuits just about from the very beginning. Esther works from Tatallon Studios at the Scottish Design Exchange near North Berwick, where she also teaches. She graduated from The Glasgow School of Art with a BA in Fine Art, before then earning her masters degree at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art. She is greatly inspired by the East Lothian seascapes, with many of her pieces depicting seas, skies and liminal coastline scenes. Esther is an imaginative and original artist, with a practice that includes ceramics and digital arts. Working with ceramics and photography, she is able to create fine art prints which are as beautiful as the natural landscapes which inspire her.
