The Enid Hutt Gallery is delighted to announce Jack Vettriano is set to release a stunning collection of five limited edition prints collectively called Contemplation. The set of five prints are set to be a sell out not before long and have already set pulses racing for collectors to secure copies of their favourite image.
The five previously unpublished images are to be officially released on Friday 18th September but can be pre-ordered now via our website or telephone on 01592 643227. Each image is available mounted only for £375 or framed in the beautiful quality Italian made frame moulding selected by Jack for £525 singularly. They are also available as a set for a discounted price of £1,650 mounted or £2,350 framed.
The five images are an excellent example of the great talent which Jack has taught himself over the many years since being bought a set of watercolours for his 21st birthday. His carrer in art began in 1989 when Vettriano submitted two canvases for the Royal Scottish Academy annual show where both paintings sold on the first day and Vettriano was approached by several galleries following.
The controversial artist has since broken records and seen his most famous original works sold for hundreds of thousands with The Singing Butler being sold in auction for £744,500 which was actually rejected in 1992 by the Royal Academy summer exhibition.
His latest feat was that of his exhibition at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow which attracted 132,502 people between September 2013 and February 2014 which beat the previous most visited exhibition featuring the 2010 Glasgow Boys showcase which drew 123,289 vistiors. More than 100 of Vettriano’s paintings from private collections around the world featured in the first major retrospective of the artist’s work.
