Anita Jeram is a British artist, who grew up in Portsmouth and has been drawing since she was very little. Her passion for drawing meant that she would be sketching away at every opportunity she got, on any scrap of paper and even in books themselves.

One of Anita's ambitions was to be a zoo keeper or vet, however it was drawing that took her to university to complete an illustration course. While studying illustration, Anita Jeram was introduced to Walker books who signed her up before she had completed her degree and from then on she has been magically illustrating stories and bringing them to live in picture form.

Guess How Much I Love You

Anita Jeram has also written and illustrated her own stories and been working on projects for ceramic figurines. However some of the most well known illustrations are from the book Guess How Much I Love You. Often the prints show touching moments such as a parent and child hare playing in the leaves, by the rock pool or around a tree. Accompanied by quotes including 'I love you this much' or 'I love you all the way up to your toes'.
