Lluis Jorda
We like to have in stock art of all kinds at the Enid Hutt Gallery. This includes fantastic Lluís Jordà sculptures. Lluís was born in Barcelona, and studied there at the Arts and Crafts School. After this, Lluís Jordà went on to attend the highly respected Academia Baixis. His sculptures are full of life, and so it is not surprising to know that - once he had become highly skilled at his craft - he went on to travel Europe, broadening his experiences, as well as his stylistic knowledge.

Advancing Sculptural Skills
Living in many different countries across Europe, including Switzerland, France and Germany, Lluís Jordà eventually returned to Spain, where he attended Guerau Calabia's workshop. It was here where he advanced yet further his expertise in sculpture. Such mastery of the art from is what has allowed Lluís Jordà to realise his artistic visions with aplomb. Take a quick look across his figurative sculptures in our collection, and you will be able to see that he has indeed mastered the form.
Highly Renowned Artist
Many are in agreement on this matter. This much is reflected by the success of his exhibitions, which have taken place in Madrid, Barcelona and indeed across Europe, where his work is to be found in many private collections. His work is extremely attentive to the shapes of the human form, especially in relation to dance. At once romantic, classical and contemporary, this is sculpture at its most sensitive. Interested in the way the body moves in dance, Lluís Jordà is able to feed this passion into his artwork with care for the overall aesthetic and with attention to the finest of detail.
The Beauty of Dance and the Figure
His artwork is captivating because of the emotion which seems to be pouring into and out of each one of his figurative sculptures. Extremely eye-catching, Lluís Jordà's sculptures seem to tell a story about the one that they depict. At once extravagant in their love for the sense of grand occasion and refined in their intricacy and delicacy, his sculpted artwork really is awe-inspiring and rich with layers and movement.
