Janet Rogers is a British artist who works from her studio in Kent. She studied Textile Design at Reigate College of Art and then worked for Heals Fabrics in London. She later became an art editor in Oxfordshire before turning to her painting full time.
Heavily influenced by 19th century artist Samuel Palmer, Janet Rogers' paintings are in a variety of styles and tackles diverse subjects. She produces enthralling impressionistic landscapes and striking abstracts in rich and sumptuous colours. Her latest abstracts are highly textured and feature gold leaf. They possess impressive sculptural qualities and are firm favourites with leading interior designers.
