One of Pugh’s parents was a vet and the other was a gardener, so it easy to see how this might have played a part in directing the future artist’s passions at that early stage.
It is this passion which comes alive throughout all her work. Indeed, Pugh is known for her scenes of animals and plants exploding with colour and energy, bringing together a perfect mix of intricate detail, unconventional style and uplifting mood.
