A Life-Changing Passion

For, after leaving the army, a trip to the lake district in 2017 saw his life change, with his mind being redirected towards the arts. Visiting an art gallery, Ben was hugely interested by a piece on display, but found that it was too expensive to buy. So, taking matters into his own hands, in a manner that perhaps was informed by the great power of will and determination that a military training instils in an individual, he decided from that moment on to start painting his own pieces.

For an artist who began to paint in earnest very recently, and who is completely self-taught, it is without a doubt an astounding achievement that Ben Goymour has reached the levels of mastery that he has in his craft.
